FUNÄSDALEN

From our base in Funäsdalen, we quickly reach large parts of the mountain areas to pick up or leave passengers.

Below we present examples of different services we offer.
Keep in mind that flying with helicopters is very versatile and we are happy to discuss with you if you have any own ideas or thoughts!

THE MOUNTAINS OF FUNÄSDALEN

This tour offers magnificent and unforgettable views of the mountains and the surrounding areas.

Seats are booked per person, and in this tour you will be seated with other passengers. Normally this tour is operated with a helicopter with 4 passenger seats. The tour is predefined and the route is not changeable. Children are welcome to fly. We have no lower age limit, but for children under the age of 12, company is required.

Flight time approx. 20 minutes
Price 1695 SEK per person.
The tour departs from Ljusnedal.

Seats are booked through our online booking service which can be accessed via the button below. Prior to booking you need a gift certificate purchased in our webshop or from a third party issuer.

Currently the booking service is available in Swedish only. Contact us for assistance with booking.

SIGHTSEEING IN FUNÄSDALEN

Experience and view the magnificent mountain world from a safe and secure place in the air. Behold the beautiful mountain peaks and valleys. Flights are offered all year round, and regardless of the season, it is equally beautiful!

From the scenic Funäsdalen, with its surrounding valleys towards Tänndalen and Ramundberget, we depart with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer months. We are happy to fly you out to the mountains from where you can choose to get a later pickup or hike o a mountain cabin.

We fly from Funäsdalen Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer season.

No flying or landing permitted in the nature reserves of Rogen, Vålådalen or Sonfjället.

The prices apply to one-way flights between the destinations (any direction). Number of passengers and amount of luggage upon request. Reporting of weights for passengers, luggage and dogs is required when booking.

Flight requires daylight and good visibility, and will be conducted only when adequate clearance from clouds and known icing conditions are attained.

Of course, we have the opportunity to arrange pick-up or transport to other places as well. Usually the only requirements are a suitable place for landing and the permission of the landowner.

HELICOPTER TRANSPORT FOR HUNTING OR FISHING

Sometimes it can be a challenge to get out to the mountains, or to get home quickly. With a helicopter, the journey becomes smooth and easy. Equipment for hunting and fishing fits in the helicopter, and your four-legged friend is welcome to come along!

With spacious helicopters, we can transport both you and your equipment quickly and smoothly out into the mountains around Jämtland and Härjedalen. Our pilots have flown in these areas for many years and have good local knowledge and great mountain experience. We can take off and land pretty much anywhere. With the exception of some mountain areas, the landowner’s permission is usually the only thing required. In other words, you decide where you want your journey to begin, we will pick you up and take you on an unforgettable trip. We can also assist with transportation of larger animals.

HELI-SKIING

Fly with us to mountain peaks with untouched snow! In small groups you can ski at your own pace, and your own mountain guide will help you find the best snow. Our pilots have vast experience of heli-skiing.

Together with locally based guides and activity companies, we conduct heli skiing in both Jämtland and Härjedalen's mountain world every year.

TAXI AND TRANSFER

By helicopter you will arrive quickly, comfortably and safely to your destination without having to worry about traffic or long winding roads. Landing sites do not need to be particularly big for us to be able to pick you up and drop you off where you wish. A helicopter can be a profitable alternative, and you can quickly both reach or get back from the mountains or rural areas.

SIGHTSEEING FLIGHTS

Flygning är en fantastisk upplevelse som ger magnifik utsikt över vidsträckta vyer. Extra speciellt blir det när man känner igen området man flyger över. Se dina hemtrakter från ovan eller flyg över fjällen och blicka ut över bergstoppar och dalar.

We can also arrange short tours by helicopter at events, so your guests can experience what it is like to fly in a helicopter. Add extra spice to your event with this much-appreciated activity!

HELI-SKIING

Tillsammans med lokalt förankrade guide och aktivitetsbolag genomför vi varje år heliski i både Jämtlands och Härjedalens fjällvärld. Våra piloter har lång erfarenhet av helisking och dessutom ett brinnande intresse för skidåkning.

Between March and May we have two of our helicopters in Riksgränsen and cooperate with Mountain Guide Travel.
