Suspended load as an efficient way of transporting materials to places hard to reach by cranes. The speed of helicopters is unbeatable, often a helicopter has finished the job in the same or shorter amount of time, that a crane requires only for establishment.
We carry out different types of lifting, shorter as well as longer, both simpler and more complex. The helicopter can also act as a flexibel crane and assist ground personnel in the installation or construction of, for example, buildings.
With our own concrete baskets, we can quickly and smoothly move concrete to a workplace from a concrete truck, which makes casting in places where trucks have difficulties reaching, much easier.

Inom STORM Heliworks AB har vi lång erfarenhet av understöd till våra nordiska kraftbolag. Vi flyger både traditionell linjebesiktning, ovädersinventering och störning/felsökning. Med helikopter går arbetet fort och enkelt och man slipper handskas med terrängen där även bandvagnar får problem att ta sig fram. Våra piloter är utbildade enligt EBR-standarden och har lång erfarenhet av inspektionsflygning vid kraftledningar. Vi har även stor kunskap om underhåll, röjning och återställning av kraftledningsgator samt andra uppdrag rörande ledningar. Beroende på uppdrag använder vi oss av våra olika utrustningar, samtliga är CE-märkta och typgodkända för helikopteranvändning av både Transportstyrelsen och det Europeiska flygsäkerhetsorganet EASA. Vi utför även avisning av kraftledningar där vi med hjälp av en trästock hängandes under maskinen försiktigt knackar bort is och tung snö från ledningarna.
Within STORM Heliworks AB we have long experience of supporting our Nordic power companies. Our flights involve both traditional type of line inspection and power outage troubleshooting, as well as storm damage assessments. Our pilots are trained according to the EBR standard and have long experience of flying in close proximity to power lines. We also have extensive knowledge about maintenance and clearing of power lines. Our equipment is CE-marked and approved for helicopter use by both the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration and the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA. We also perform de-icing work on power lines, for which we use a wooden log suspended from the helicopter to carefully knock ice and heavy snow off the lines.

So that we can complete the spreading operation as efficiently as possible, we set up a mobile base in the vicinity of the area where the work is being carried out. This is done using a fuel trailer and service vehicle. On this type of assignment, we fly with two baskets to eliminate helicopter waiting time when loading.
